Here we have a blast from the past with a Tamashii release from January; the second Medabots D-Arts release, the Kuwagata Type, Rokusho! Despite the ¥3,500 price tag, this guy is only about 4.5" or so, compared to some of the other Tamashii releases. He can be found at most major online shops and eBay. His build is similar to Metabee, being constructed of metal joints and plastic ball and socket joints to allow for easy part swapping with Metabee. the joints are fairly solid, but the limbs do have tendencies of popping out easy. He comes with the Chanbara Sword, a sword-less replacement for that arm, the Picopeco Hammer, an extended replacement for that arm, a Chanbara Sword effect part, a Kuwagata Medal, and a cloak. To equip the cloak, replace the neck with one of the extended neck joints, remove the left shoulder pad (or the entire arm) and slide the cloak on before reattaching the head. It makes him look badass. Overall, Rokusho is a terrific addition to the line, with very little flaws. The pearly white paint looks great, despite the few paint chips and splotches on my figure. It's a shame we haven't gotten word on any other Medabots releases just yet. Hopefully the pictures shown in previous Tamashii events will actually come true. More Medabots, More Power!
