(NOTE: I keep saying $15 +tax, when in reality I meant to say $15 including shipping, as its about ~$10 for a single pair of dice.)
A pair of dice I had custom printed for a tabletop game I play (Battletech) and my initial opinions upon seeing them. Dice are from thegamecrafter.com, and facing designs were made in GIMP.
Overal dice quality seems...ok. My dice had dents in their sides and the faces have some light scuffing. Not sure if its because of how the dice are handled in the printing process, how they are stored, or even manufactured.
Print quality is good, lots of crisp detail and clean edges. Print durability is an issue as I was able to scrape off some of the print with little effort. I wish these dice were coated in in some kind of finish that would prevent future scrapes and dings.
Dice faces are not flat, and bow out slightly. Giving the dice a slight wiggle before they come to a stop.
Overall the product is ok, probably wouldn't use the print feature again but its nice to know that they are capable of such high quality (in terms of detail) prints.
