Maidstone, Kent.
Various shots at Detling aerodrome show children putting on helmets and preparing for a race in tiny Formula 6 racing cars, powered by lawn-mover engines. Adults help them to start off and the children go whizzing around the track in the cars. Some of the adults have a go in the cars, including Tom Barnard, who designed the cars. Nice M/S of a small boy pulling up in front of the camera; he takes off his helmet to show his mud-splattered face and laughs.
