This series follows the adventures and battles of Jayce and his crew: Herc, a mercenary pilot; Gillian, a wise wizard; Flora, a half-plant/half-human girl; and Oon, a mechanical squire. As they travel the universe in search of Audric, Jayce's Father, to reunite the magic root of a plant that can destroy Saw Boss and his evil plant followers, the Monster Minds.

The 1985 cartoon based on the Mattel line of toys and written by J. Michael Straczynski (Creator of Babylon 5).
Unfortunately the series was cancel before the story could be given a proper ending. It was an excellent show while it lasted and is one of my personal favorites.
