I had heard it was no longer possible to get inexpensive large format printed continuous tone engineering prints from Staples, but as of September 2021 I had no difficulty in Los Angeles. They are meant for circuit diagrams and construction drawings but they do fairly well with photos. The paper is cheap, but the whole 2’ x 3’ print cost less than $4 #shorts
