The creator of My Colony (Brandon Stecklein) has released two recent updates 0.41 and 0.42. Included are the Arcology building and StarGate! See more below.

The two new research things to unlock are:

Mega Habitats (which unlocks the Arcology). It takes 20,000,000 research! The Arcology is huge and can hold 10,000 colonists. It also provides 7000 jobs, 500 medical patients, 2000 guests, 500 tourists and 10,000 residents.

Interdimensional Transportation. Costs 40 million research points and 15,000 alien artifacts. It allows you to build the Star Gate.

The StarGate allows new citizens to join your colony and also allows you to sell 100,000 units of each resource.

The performance of the game has been greatly increased and there is a new bulldozer tool that lets you clear buildings and roads quickly. The stats menu has been redone and looks much better now. It also includes historical graphs of prices and other stats.


Some additional Tips:

The price of Aluminum is probably going to drop a LOT because you can mine aluminum using the Zolarg race now. The price of Triantanium is going to be very high since it is needed to make the new Advanced Robotics Inc. building which makes robot currency much faster.
