Here is some collection of Royal Blocks and Royal Releases in Royal Guard style. You can block almost all hits without getting damage and conterattack with Release.
Once I found for myself that Royal Block gives additional survivability for Dante and crowdcontrol, and Royal Release allows you to not lower tempo of fight, but even stun and damage enemies. I'd recomend all a bit skilled players to train Royal Guard and refuse avoidance with jumps and Tricker style usage at least in trivial situations.
