🇬🇧 Battle of Britain ended exactly 84 years ago, on the 31 October 1940 – the Germans did not succeed in taking over the British skies. Poles played an important role in defending Britain: two Polish bomber groups (300 and 301) and two fighter groups (302 and the famous 303) helped the British Air Force. Along with these groups, 81 Polish pilots also fought in British units.
🇵🇱 Bitwa o Anglię zakończyła się dokładnie 84 lata temu, 31 października 1940 roku – Niemcom nie udało się zdobyć brytyjskiego nieba. W obronie Wielkiej Brytanii dużą rolę odegrali Polacy: dwa polskie dywizjony bombowe (300 i 301) oraz myśliwskie (302 i słynny 303) wsparły brytyjskie lotnictwo. Oprócz nich, aż 81 polskich pilotów walczyło w brytyjskich jednostkach.
