The community of ward 29 in Rustenburg in the North West says it will be rallying behind an independent candidate to win the ward in the upcoming local government elections. The community says the ward, which is comprised of 7 villages, including Barseba, has battled to access basic services, such as provision of water and poor road conditions, despite years of promises made by various political parties campaigning for elections.
