In the vicinity of the capital Rabat, a young man has embarked from 3 years in a snail-farming project, it is the first of its kind in this region, and most of the farms are in Marrakech and Casablanca. The export market is very promising because Spain and France are big consumers of snails, but about 5 years ago the laboratories have started to use snail slime for cosmetic products.
