On the pilgrimage to India - the homeland of Shakyamuni Buddha, Great Monks of Ba Vang Pagoda stopped by in Thailand for one day and went on alms round on the streets of Bangkok, where Buddhism is widely disseminated and regarded as the national religion. It was the first time the Sangha of Ba Vang Pagoda went out for alms in a foreign country. Through this special event, it can be seen that Buddhism is a religion truly based on mind and heart, not on words or origins, that’s why despite language barrier and culture differences, Thai Buddhists still paid reverence to the Vietnamese Monks as to any other Buddha’s disciples.
You shouldn’t miss the chance to watch those beautiful moments captured at this event!
