Rushikulya Beach, Berhampur Overview
A hidden gem in the state of Orissa, Rushikulya Beach is a quietude place ideal to relax and enjoy some solitude. This Beach is not visited by a large number of people, hence you can visit this beach to getaway from the hustle bustle of the daily life.
Rushikulya Beach is a great place to unwind and enjoy the beauties of nature. The shimmering blue water and the clean sand makes for a picture perfect place where you can also witness the hatching of the endangered Olive Ridley Turtles. This beach is serene and tranquil where you can sit and listen to the melodious sound of the water and enjoy.
Swimming: Rushikulya Beach will provide you with the shimmering blue water to dive into and swim. The waves are gigantic which make swimming a thrilling and exciting experience. The cold water will help you feel refreshed and rejuvenated.
Witness the hatching of Olive Ridley Turtles: The pristine Rushikulya beach is home to a large number of Olive Ridley Turtles that lay eggs. You can witness the beauty of these tiny eggs hatching and small turtles coming out of them. This would be quite a sight to see and would be a once in a lifetime opportunity. The eggs generally hatch in the morning so try and visit the beach early in the morning.
