Zeke is a seven-year-old canary-winged parakeet. I adopted him after he was twice rejected as being "too loud." To me, parrot sounds are music. I've had him now for 4 1/2 years.
I just taught him this trick the other day. I'm usually not a trick-teacher. I like animals to do their own thing. But Zeke seems so eager to please and to interact, as you can see in his other videos. So I thought "Why not?"
Wiley (RIP), my first parrot bigger than a budgie, used to do a somersault around his perch. Maybe I can teach Zeke to do that in his honor.
