Here's video from a hike I did this past summer in Kananaskis, which is just west of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It was a beautiful day with great views and highlights incuding Bighorn Sheep, a Marmot, and waterfalls.
The route I did started at Deadmans Flats by Canmore. I went up Mount Collembola then over to Mount Allan and down to the Ribbon creek day use area via Mt Collembola Trail. I went back along Skogan Pass with a quick stop at Troll Falls.
The total loop was about 25.87 miles with 7,503 feet of ascent. It made for a pretty epic day!
