On the afternoon of October 27, an unidentified body was found along the Wokha-Merapani road, about two kilometers from Bhandari town. Local commuters made the grim discovery around 1 PM and promptly notified the Bhandari Police Station.Upon arrival, police recovered the body and transported it to the Community Health Center in Bhandari for further identification. Locals, believing the deceased to be in his late thirties, suspect foul play, although the exact cause of death remains undetermined. The individual has since been identified as Mhonshan Kinghen, a resident of Akuk village.The police have launched a thorough investigation to uncover the circumstances surrounding the death and determine the cause.
