A limiting belief is a belief you have within your subconscious that limits you in the positive progression of any aspect of your life.
For Example: "I don't believe I am worth of your success." "I don't believe I am good enough for ____."
You may have heard the semi-common phrase, "If you can master your subconscious, you can master your life." 100% true! Why? Well, because part of subconscious mastery is mastering your belief systems.
Imagine, turning your belief of unworthiness into one of worthiness, of no confidence into confidence....
TO FIRST MASTER and change your limiting beliefs, you must identify them!
Here is an easy three step process to identify your limiting beliefs.
1. BACKTRACKING.
Choose an aspect of your life that you currently are less than satisfied with.
2. WRITE DOWN EVERY THOUGHT/BELIEF ABOUT THAT ASPECT OF YOUR LIFE.
3. FOR EACH BELIEF/THOUGHT FROM STEP TWO, WRITE A CONTRACTING ONE
Use these new, positive statements as your affirmations and mantras during meditation and self hypnosis. Post them around your house on post-it notes. Write down your favorites, take a picture, and put it as your wallpaper.
For example: You are not happy with your romantic relationships thus far, take out a paper and write everything that comes to mind about that aspect of your life: something is wrong with me, no one will ever love me, love is a made up thing, etc. Then contract those current beliefs: I am proud of who I am, I am loveable, I have not yet found my match, but I will soon.
