I finally upgraded from my 7 year old 34" 1440p 60Hz monitor to the all brand new Alienware AW3423DWF with 1000 nits peak brightness, 165Hz refresh rate and a Quantum Dot OLED panel.
QD-OLED is getting as dark as an OLED does, but also similarly as bright as a MiniLED does but at the same time it is way more efficient than previous OLED panels, because it is not filtering the colors anymore and actually converting them. This give Dell the confidence to include burn in in the 3 year warranty for the first time ever. I'm just excited about this new technology and wanted to share this news with you.
