Episode 15: Nissar's Last Wish

Jija says that she will be a mother to Nissar's child. The enemy may be huge but she will make the child so able that he will not be scared by seeing a large number of soldiers. When Mhalsa objects her decision, Jija says that Nissar had a wish and a dream to make his child just like Jija and she will make sure Nissar's dream comes true.

The history and life story of Jijamata is largely unknown to the audience. This show is an attempt to bring to light the inspirational history of Jijamata who envisioned the idea of swarajya (self-rule) along with her husband Shahaji Raje Bhosale and strived all her life to ensure her vision comes true. The story starts from her childhood where she was a pampered kid and was always treated like a queen. The story narrates her graceful transformation from an observant curious kid to a visionary who played a key role in administering the Maratha kingdom. The show takes us through all the phases of her life and the various role she played as a daughter, wife, mother, and Mother-queen of Maratha kingdom. The story beautifully brings out the various aspects of Jijamata’s personality which makes her a role model for today’s women. The show is an intellectually enriching experience that sticks to historical references, gives anecdotes on balancing various roles in life and is a visual treat to watch.
