Please avoid from purchasing ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III.
You should choose a different AIO after reading my story.
It seemed that in 2024 this would not be possible, but ARCTIC engineers, instead of following the traditional and repeatedly tested path of mounting a water block using 4 screws to the frame, decided to save money and came up with a mount that will easily damage your motherboard and CPU. Which is what happened in my case. Installation on the Gigabyte Aorus Elite x570 motherboard took about 30 minutes! The installation of the Liquid Freezer III 360 A-RGB cooling system was particularly stressful due to an inadequately designed fastening system. The short screws and springy plate made it difficult to evenly and securely attach the water block to the mounting clips, a water block that does not cover the entire CPU lid and is offset leaving 15% of the CPU lid surface without covering (on AM4 socket), the lack of a hard stop of screws - all this led to overtightening, causing the socket to bow and damaging both the CPU and motherboard socket. Having assembled more than 20 computers in my life, I have never faced such challenges. I submitted a request for compensation for damaged components on the Arctic website (ticket #CS147313). The manufacturer admitted that the mount needed reworking, but refused to compensate for my losses. They are ready to sell you a low-quality product, but are not ready to bear responsibility for it. It's a pity that ARCTIC values its reputation at £300 (the cost of damaged components).
I ended up with a damaged motherboard and CPU and with no support. Don’t be fooled by the low price and advertising on YouTube, choose high-quality and reliable manufacturers.
