This video features musician, songwriter and stroke survivor, Pieter Egriega. He has created an honest and heart-warming diary of his experience of stroke, to tell the story of his recovery. Aged 55, Pieter had a stroke in June 2013. He lost the use of his right hand, arm and right leg. After seeing how badly he was affected by the stroke, a friend suggested he write 100 word short stories, or 'drabbles' to lift his spirits. Using his left hand to type on his IPad, Pieter created the book Drabble Diary of a Stroke Survivor, made up of 100 drabbles to document his recovery. Within six months the diary was complete and has now been published in print and as an e-book.
