The starting moves are 1 e4 e5 2 Nf3 Nc6 3 Bc4 Nf6 4 d4!? exd4 5 0-0 Bc5
The Five Simple Steps!
Rule 1: 2:51 Start with 1 e4 2 Nf3 and 3 Bc4
Rule 2: 2:51 If Black plays 3 ...Nf6 we play 4 d4. Opening the centre and entering the Max Lange
Rule 3: 9:45 5...Bc5 is met with 6 e5 7 exf6 8 fxg7 and 9 Bg5!
Rule 4: 17:44 after 9 Bg5! Black must find 9...Be7! ...Ke7! and ...Kf6! - not easy! - We gather momentum with Nbd2-e4 and Qd2-g5/f4.
Rule 5: 23:00 We generally play Nb1-d2xc4 but if Black defends c4 with 12 Be6 we play 13 Ne4+ 14 Qd2 and Qf4.
