At Heartland 2023 festival guests could experience the installation 'A journey to Berlin' by the internationally renowned Danish-Vietnamese artist Danh Vo. 'A journey to Berlin' was Danh Vo's first contribution to his three-year collaboration with Heartland and consisted of Heartland's festival guests participating in the competition for, as the title of the installation suggests, a journey to Berlin. The 10 lucky winners have now been contacted – and they can look forward to a unique experience in the city. In the video Danh Vo explains what the winners can expect.
The rest of us can now also start looking forward to Danh Vo’s second contribution to the three-year collaboration which will be presented at Heartland 2024. This, as well as the rest of the art programme for this year’s festival, will soon be revealed!
