They will attack All possible targets except for boxes.
This wont work on zombies bosses and some humans.

Details: Enemies like Bats will Drop an Item with no image and a Shield Just discard those items.
And in the final battle (Human Form Guildenstern) you will can get the weapon Holy Win the final Boss Sword, you can also kill Sydney when you team up with him to get his sword.
Try the minotaurs weapon its really big.
