Tang Yuan 汤圆 (Chinese glutinous rice balls) is a staple in Chinese tradition. These chewy rice balls are eaten every year to honor the Winter Solstice as known as Dōngzhì Festival 冬至 and the 15th day of Lunar New Year called the Lantern Festival.To celebrate, families would gather and feast enjoying delicious food including a hot bowl of tang yuan ☺️
Ingredients:

- Unsalted peanuts - 1/4 cup (37g)
- Coconut powder or finely shredded coconut - 2 tbsp (9g)
- White sugar - 1/2 cup (100g)
- Unsalted Butter - 4 tbsp (56g)
- Warm water - 1 cup (8oz)
- Ginger - 6 slices
