Peacekeepers killed by Bosnian Serbs after the NATO air strikes were remembered by their U-N comrades in Sarajevo on Tuesday.
A memorial service was held for the two French soldiers who died in a battle for a strategic bridge in the Bosnian capital on Saturday.
This gloomy room at Sarajevo airport was where French soldiers of the U-N peacekeeping force said goodbye to their two colleagues who died on Saturday.
The two were killed during a confrontation between Serbs and blue berets as the Serbs tried to capture Vrbanja bridge in the centre of Sarajevo from the United Nations force.
France has suffered the most casualties amongst the peacekeepers - 39 French soldiers have been killed so far.
There are more than 3,400 French troops on the ground - the biggest contingent provided by any nation.
But despite the losses, French Foreign Minister Herve de Charette said on Tuesday that his country would stay the course in Bosnia.
