In this video, you will learn how to add #Confluence #page restrictions to your Confluence pages. In a previous video, I discussed how to manage access to a Confluence space. This specific video takes access to a different level. Instead of managing permission at the space level, each individual page in Confluence can have restrictions that further limit who can access that page.
Page restrictions can hide pages completely from folks not on the official access list. While this is great, there are some things you should be aware of when using page restrictions. The most important thing is that if you are using Confluence Standard, any page that has a restriction is basically lost if the author of that page restriction leaves your company. If you are on Confluence Premium, this isn't a problem as the Confluence Admin will have a "master" key that can unlock any restriction on any page.
