I am a Loughborough university student currently on my placement year in industry. I am working for a mid-market private equity firm and living in London. In this video I explain hoe exactly private equity firms raise capital (fundraise) from investors. Private equity companies raise millions and billions in capital, but how exactly do they do this. The answer is limited partners, and in this video I explain who limited partners and general partners are and how they fundraise.
