Have you ever wondered if there was a way to find better flights when booking an uncomfortable long haul flight? Have you wished you could break up those long flights into smaller segments with longer stopovers in interesting places along the way? Not only is it possible, but sometimes it is even cheaper! In this video I am going to show you how I use Google Flights (with an assist from a website called Flights From) to break those long distance flights into segments that can be more comfortable, more interesting, can make jet lag more manageable, and with this example, it even ends up being less expensive!

There are a lot of variables here, but this is a real-world example from our own travels as we prepare to leave Europe this summer after completing the Camino de Santiago through Spain and want to end up in Singapore. But rather than taking an 18 hour flight from Madrid to Singapore, as long term travelers, we have time to spare and would love to see some extra destinations along the way, especially if it makes the travel days shorter! I'm going to show you exactly how I search for these deals so you will be able to find them for yourselves as well.
