Moving on,... the International Olympic Committee has announced the official candidates to host the 2022 Winter Olympic Games.
They are Oslo, Norway,... Almaty, Kazakhstan,... and Beijing, China.
The IOC executive board named the three cities as finalists,... after earlier withdrawals by Stockholm, Sweden,... Krakow, Poland,... and Lviv, Ukraine.
The cities will have to submit their plans by next January,... with the final decision coming on July 31st, 2015.
