Amazon is a search engine. People look for products that they want to buy and as an Amazon seller, you must ensure that your listing appears high up on the search results page. This is one way to gain organic traffic rather than just relying on paid PPC campaigns.

In this video, I didn't talk about keyword research much. But that is the prerequisite in listing optimization.
The key in optimizing your listing is to maximize the use of characters, even at the backend stuff. But know that you must place keywords strategically that it is easy to read, natural-sounding, and does not appear stuffy.
Always think about how the readers will consume the content while making sure that the listing gets indexed by Amazon's algorithm.
