Tom Willoughby works through one of his heats creating what he called a "camp knife" from a new Crafter rasp available through FPD dealers. Tom's going to get us more info on the tempering and heat treat process but in every clip we got Tom had about 30-45 seconds to work the piece before having to re-heat in the propane forge he was using. Patience! He used a Bloom Forge hot cut to remove the tang and cut the long angle on the end at the same time.
