What is Davos like in the off season?

In this video we continue exploring our backyard and drive to Davos and stay at the wonderful Hotel Grischa.

You may of heard of Davos before but in a much different connection. Correct, the World Economic Forum (WEF) takes place in Davos every January.

The World Economic Forum (WEF) is based in Switzerland and it is an international NGO, founded in 1971. The WEF's mission is stated as "committed to improving the state of the world by engaging business, political, academic, and other leaders of society to shape global, regional, and industry agendas".

The WEF hosts an annual meeting at the end of January in Davos, a mountain resort in Graubünden, Switzerland. The meeting brings together some 3,000 business leaders, international political leaders, economists, celebrities and journalists for up to five days to discuss global issues.

That's not the reason we're there though. It happens that Brian's former colleague and friend, Oliver, is the Culinary Director at the Hotel Grischa in Davos. As it was also Pucki's birthday. So he kindly organized a room for us and invited us to try his signature dishes as well as give us a behind the scenes tour of the hotel.

Now why did we tell you all about the WEF you're probably asking yourself. Well the reason is quite simple - there's literally nothing to do in Davos unless said forum is taking place. :-)
