In a fresh escalation, Israel reportedly targeted the Iranian embassy in Syria's capital Damascus. Iran reported that Israeli strikes have hit the consular section of the embassy. A building in the embassy compound was “flattened". The alleged Israeli airstrike demolished Iran’s consulate in Syria on Monday and killed two Iranian generals and five officers, according to Iranian officials.
