An accessibility audit was done in Burton, MI on August 26, 2010 to determine accessibility for both current and future road projects. As The Disability Network is involved with the Complete Streets initiative, a couple of Burton residents who have disabilities participated in the audit. Their participation gave an alternative view for policy makers, engineers, and planners on what to consider when planning and completing projects.
