Summary:The Swarm is a global environmental thriller based on the writings of Frank Schetsin about the aberrant behavior of the world's marine animals today and the turmoil that aberrant behavior causes. Millions of strange worms suddenly appear on the floor of the North Sea, burrowing through frozen methane and threatening the stability of the entire continental shelf. Swarms of mussels prevent large ships from maneuvering. Poisonous jellyfish, lobsters and whales began attacking humans along the world's coasts.
