Can this Tomtoc Arcoss Sling for the Steam Deck be your only EDC Sling?
Absolutely!
I don't own a Steam Deck but I find the capacity of this sling to be enough for my everyday carry.
It has a quick access pocket in front for your keys, receipts and coins. Although it doesn’t have a key leash.
The flexible and detachable W Shaped large compartment has a felt padded material that can protect your devices like your phone, a small tablet, or Steam Deck. Although it doesn't have padding at the bottom. In this space, I usually place a small umbrella and a 12oz Kleen Kanteen water bottle.
The mesh pocket in front is usually a space for my airpods and anker usb C to lightning cable, but can also fit your phone or powerbank or even sunglasses. While the space in front is large enough for my wallet, Anker powerbank and iPhone 6S Plus.
The divider also has a small pocket that comes with a free Steam Deck game or SD card organizer, and is also good enough for thin items.
