Sometimes we have the habit of pushing our Buddhahood away. We don’t believe we are good enough.
We can think we need to put Buddha—or the people we perceive of as Buddha—on a pedestal and give them all the Buddha responsibility. THEY are the kind ones. THEY are the wise ones. THEY are the ones who get to walk the Buddha Way—so that we don’t have to.
This is our ego.
We are good enough. We have to step onto this moving and changing path. And we have to be willing to fail.
Making the effort is our Buddha Nature.
