The Transnet National Ports Authority has invested 1.4-billion-rand for the construction of nine super tugboats. They'll be used to haul large ships entering and exiting the country. This as part of Operation Phakisa, a government undertaking to unlock the potential of South Africa's ocean economy. The first tugboat was unveiled in Durban on Tuesday.
