Te Henga Walkway, Waitakere ranges regional park
The Te Henga Walkway, between Bethells and Muriwai, is part of the Hillary Trail, which connects a number of existing tracks in the Waitakere Ranges.
The track heads in the direction of the ocean, ascending cliff tops at times. Parts are narrow and steep so it’s best to walk the track in dry weather.
Its a stunning walk with amazing beach and coastal views for most of the walk. I didn't go too far and only reached to O’Neill’s Bay (2 km, approximately 45 minutes one way)
