The world you see around you is just as imagined as your own thoughts.
In a dream, you know your thoughts are just imagination, but the world outside feels real. When you wake up, though, everything in the dream turns out to be unreal. Gaudapada says the same is true in waking life. You think your thoughts are projections, but the outside world? The outside world is actually just as unreal as a dream.Simply being external doesn’t make it real.
