WTO 각료회의 일정 하루 연장…수산보조금 등 쟁점 추가 협의
The World Trade Organization has extended its first in-person conference in five years by one day until Thursday.
According to the WTO on Wednesday, the agency's head proposed the extension to the 12th Ministerial Conference ... in the hope of reaching agreements on key issues.
The contentious issues include fisheries subsidies and food security amid a worsening food crisis.
The four-day meeting being held in Geneva was scheduled to end on Wednesday.
Any agreement requires consensus among all 164 members of the WTO.
