Brazilian artist Denilson Baniwa joins SDSU scholars Dr. Eliane Gomes Alves, and Dr. Miranda Chase, and Dr. Gillian Sneed to discuss Indigenous perspectives on ecology, land, and nature. Addressing several urgent sociopolitical issues including the relationship between the Amazon rainforest and its Indigenous populations, Indigenous ancestral memory and knowledge, and the Indigenous struggle for land rights.
