Today I'll be going over what I believe to be some of the best kit to get, if you are new to MilSim West, and you decide to go on either RUSFOR (Russian Kit), or Militia (Rag Tag Kit/Russian Kit).

As MilSim West has grown more popular, many new players have shown up to the events, with many going either "RUSFOR" or militia.

Many of these players either choose to not read the TACSOP, or misinterpret what is stated as to what's ok to wear on either of these two factions. (RUSFOR/Militia are on the same team)

This is mostly a problem with the militia faction, as many players interpret the rules as, "as long as its in woodland, it's ok", which has lead to many militia players showing up in essentially woodland MARSOC kits.

Not very militia looking....

MilSim West focuses on the immersion factor of the games, and expects its players to look the part that they are trying to represent.

In today's video, I will be going over what I believe to be some of the best starter kits fo RUSFOR/militia, as well as a good starter gun.

There are tons of other kits out there that are ok as well, but this is what I consider to be a sort of baseline, and you can go from there.
