Is Rice Healthier Than Wheat | A Doctors Opinion is a video where Dr. Zyrowski highlights the difference between wheat and rice.
Is Rice Healthy is a common question that many people have. So I did a video on that topic only to find out that people had another question around rice. Rice is a food that is consumed by billions of people daily and is ultimately a food that feeds our planet at a high level.
What's healthier rice or wheat is the next big question. Because not only to people consume high amounts of wheat but also high amounts of rice is well. So if you had to make a choice then what would you do? I highlight in this video that choice I would make if I had to make a decision between white rice and white bread, brown rice and brown bread, and then of course I share the healthiest options available in both forms.
Is rice good for weight loss is another question people as and the answer is no. It is a carb without much nutrient quality and it also carries a fairly high glycemic index. Carrying a high glycemic index is not good if you are trying to lose weight as it will stop you from losing weight almost immediately.
At the end of the day if your wondering is rice bad for you, then you would be correct to think it is unless you are making better choices and choosing healthier options like wild rice that is organic and low in arsenic. Your typical white rice and brown rice isn't good and that is why you want to look to healthier sources.
When you you consider is rice good for you you have to really break it down. Rice is considered a health food from the perspective of ancient Chinese medicine and has been used for thousands of years. I would chose healthy rice options over healthy bread options simply because the bread will contain gluten which many people rect negatively too. That is my oinion on is rice healthier than wheat.
