The Plaosan Temple, also known as the Plaosan Complex, is one of the Buddhist temples located in Bugisan village, in the Prambanan district. It is located about a 10-miles from Yogyakarta. There are actually two temples here; Plaosan Lor (“Lor” means north) and Plaosan Kidul (“Kidul” means south). If you visit Prambanan without visiting Plaosan you have cheated yourself out of an amazing experience.
