🔥 CRAZY BUBBLY LEAD RECIPE 🔥

I consider bubbly leads to be one of the cheat codes to use when a track needs an organic element and usually they’re created by FMing a couple of sine waves.

With the release of Vital and its spectral morph algorithms a new and better way to create those leads was introduced to us sound designers, it consists of taking a saw wave then modifying it with the phase dispresse algorithm.

Usually I set the phase dispresse parameter all the way to the right or left (to taste) and depending on the lead I might add a random modulator on the phase dispresse to make the sound move a bit (this is super useful with arpeggiated leads) then I filter everything with a bandpass filter (but you can go with whatever that suits your sound best.

To polish the patch I like adding some distortion, EQing to take off any unwanted lower frequencies, a multiband compressor for that plasticky feeling it gives and a delay.
