This video shows a very easy and quick way to clean and prep stubborn pomo [cow skin] ncluding the ones that roll up so bad, making it difficult to clean.
Alternatively, you can also try this method:
Immerse in a pot with water and bring to boil,
Boil for a few minutes till tender and turn off heat
Allow to cool and drain any remaining liquid
Using a sharp knife, carefully remove anything unwanted that is on the inside of the cow’s skin one after the other
Gently and lightly scrape the outer back surfaces of the cow’s skin
Rinse thoroughly
Voila! Now your pomo is ready for cooking
