On Wednesday 8 November, we welcomed Dr. Nikolas Kirby, Research Fellow and Departmental Lecturer in Philosophy and Public Policy at Oxford University's Blavatnik School of Government, and director of their Building Integrity program, for a talk on Public Integrity.
Dr Kirby touched on some important points in his discussion, including the tendency to define organisational integrity by what an organisation isn’t, rather than what it is. Integrity isn’t simply the absence of corruption. It’s important to focus not only on avoiding actions which may detract from an organisation’s integrity, but to focus on actions which will enhance it.
Enjoy a snippet of that talk here.
