Come and join the conversation with Aliza Reger, owner of the luxurious Janet Reger brand!

Aliza talks me through her mother's journey into business, and the pioneering movement she was instrumental in creating in the late 60's / early 70's bringing luxury lingerie as a form of self gifting!

We chat about her life growing up, being part of the business, accompanying her parents to meetings. Her early involvement in the business doing mail outs, she describes vivid memories of being cross legged on the office floor stuffing envelopes for mail outs.

Growing older, the family business seemed to be a natural progression for her, having been involved from a young age and wanting to continue her mother's brand.

Aliza talks fondly of the high profile clients that she was lucky enough to meet, such as Pierce Brosnan, Mick Jagger and one of her idols, the legend that is Cher! Unfortunately Aliza was diplomatic when I asked her if there was any gossip on clients that weren't the nicest! (much to my disappointment!!)

Aliza takes me on a journey of the challenges she's faced as a woman in business, and when asked about the difficult times she's faced, her answer was just wonderful. Her graceful response citing the experiences and trauma that we face throughout our lives is merely opportunities to grow, learn, and gain tools to navigate further turmoil, more importantly retaining the positive notion that we WILL get through things.

There's exciting times ahead for the Janet Reger brand, a brand new line of home fragrance launching in March, new bed linen, homeware range available at Next and a brand new lingerie line launching later in the year too!
