During the first Intifada, Nizar El Barky was a child injured in a bombing in Gaza that took his leg, foot, and arm. In 1991, he was sent to the Shriners Hospital in Los Angeles for treatment by PCRF founder Steve Sosebee. Nizar's long journey of medical care, education, and other humanitarian support from hundreds of people worldwide changed his life. This is his story.
